As President Obama once said when asked about the beginnings of life, "That is above my pay grade." I don't get either the theological aspects of the question (try Goose, though) or the cultural aspects of those who are obsessed with it. Re. the Olson/Boies case, however, your comment inspired a post I had no intention of doing today. You are welcome, but please don't tell my typist's grad students, who are still waiting on grades, what she was up to this afternoon. ;-)Roxie Smith Lindemannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06455529922082930949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23938076.post-41006507136105836622009-05-29T13:01:15.234-04:002009-05-29T13:01:15.234-04:00The jokes will never die!

I was so happy to read this post because I...Roxie,

I was so happy to read this post because I was wondering what you were thinking about BO and was hoping that your um, condition, wouldn't stop you from weighing in on this very important matter. There are two other things I'm wondering about. First, and this may be a bit untoward, but as you are in your literal end times, I wonder if you have new insight about those in our nation obsessed with the end times? Maybe not, but I couldn't resist asking. Second, dying to know what you make of the Olson/Boies case. While you're not a lawyer and neither am I, I think we sometimes both like to play one on the internets.
Hope you have a good day today, Roxie. Rest and be well.
Julie
PS In the cat of scat, poor Homer was quite loose this morning and probably let go of your weight in poo by the side of the road. I had to clean. This is not easy with only plastic bags.
PPS Hope Goose feels better. I spent two days with the crud as well. I think I picked it up in the cesspool called NY.Julie R. I love you too and I am glad you are peaceful. . .and indefatigable in your commitment to peace and social justice. . .for all families and all people. And you do it all with a sense of humor, the greatest wisdom.
--GooseGoosenoreply@blogger.com
